Title text shown as printed on the title page; cover offers the "0f" corrected to "of" and adds National Forests 1891-1991 (denoting the year Congress acted to create the Forest Reserve Act).; 5-1/4" x 8-1/2"; v, 37 pp; This pamphlet in the main discusses the history prior to 1891. It discusses and pictures Franklin B. Hough (the first Federal forestry agent appointed in 1876), Bernard E. Fernow (appointed Chief of the USDA Division of Forestry in 1886) and Gifford Pinchot (appointed Chief in 1898). Widely held institutionally, this publication is for some reason uncommon in the trade. ; Soiling/creasing to some pages limited to the tip of the lower right corner, stamp of Alaska Sightseeing/Cruise West of Juneau, Alaska to title page otherwise unmarked. .

Items which fit in one of the Medium Flat Rate Boxes can ship for the standard expedited charge, regardless of weight.
