Robert Emmons Rogers, the playwright, was graduated by Harvard College and his play debuted in St. Louis and was later performed at the Greenwich Village Theatre. This copy's owner, one Lois Michel, apparently used her book as as a prompt copy for a local performance. She has written over the names of the actors from the Greenwich Village production (on a page listing the full cast) with the names of actors with whom she likely performed with or directed. Scarce/
