Rio De Janeiro: Livraria Sao Jose, 1960. 1st . Hardcover. Fine. First printing, this facsimile edition of the 1831 original. Limited to 1,000 copies of which this is number 731. 52 page plate section with 23 colour plates printed recto only, plus 35 pp. text section of Portuguese translation, index, elephant folio size about 16" tall, bound in green "alligator" leather, gilt spine titles with bands. A stunning production in Nearly Fine condition with some bumping/wear to extremities, but internally Fine. Text is bilingual (French and Portuguese).
