Neville Spearman, 1984. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. Vintage Hardcover with DJ, Stated 4th Impression 1984 Neville Spearman Suffolk 236 pages. Very Good+, in a VG DJ. Minor shelf/edge wear to black cloth boards with gilt spine titles - two tiny bumped corners. Moderate shelf/edge wear and rubbing to original unclipped DJ - now in myalr. Previous owner blank bookplate on inside front cover. 16 chapters, appendix and 18 B&W illustrations. Splendid autobiography of W.D. Bell, the greatest of all the old professional elephant hunters. Most of his kills were brain shots (quartering from the rear) made with a 7mm Mauser. That is precision work under stress. Highly recommended.ISBN-0854351353.LOC SSS-30
