London: Miles & Miles, 1890. Book. Good. Hardcover. 8vo. No date C. 1890 -1900? - the Publisher's Miles and Miles were publising around this period. (A seemingly very rare early edition; no copy on Copac or in the British Library and we have not been able to locate any record of this edition) 428 pages. Original red cloth binding with gilt lettering and blind stamped decoration to the front board and spine, bevelled edges to boards; good with some general wear and rubbing to extremities, cloth a little marked and spine somewhat faded. Contents good, top corner of front free end paper pinched off, previous owner's name to the head of the title page, paper tanned, small stain to the top corner of the front paste-down. A "cheap" production but nevertheless an early and a very scarce edition..
