First issue with Max Scherr back as owner after the Allen Coult interregnum. Cover story on Meredith "Mert" Hunter, who was killed by Hell's Angels at Altamont, plus an article on Abbie Hoffman, a short piece on Eldridge Cleaver, comix by Gilbert Shelton, and the usual smattering of other news and ads of the era.
