About This Item
Interlaken : Montana Editions , 1926. 1st Edition. Yellow-Brown Cloth. Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. 47pp followed by 72 pages of b/w photographic plates. A charming, well illustrated book. There are several full page colour plates - some photographic reproductions - some coloured woodblock reproductions and numerous line drawings throughout the 47 pp. Gilt embossed lettering to the front board. Rubbing to the cloth at the head and tail of the spine and over the corners with a little associated fraying of the cloth. Some light bowing to the front board. The corners of the first 12 or so leaves have been lightly exposed to moisture leaving faint tide marks to the corners. Tear of 2 cm to the margin of one full page plate, now repaired with acid free archival tape .A couple of other nicks and a little associated creasing. A little insect damage to the edge of the half title and contents page with slight loss. Internally the pages are clean and tight. A good copy of this topographical book.
