1931 Brewer, Warren and Putnam first edition. Uncommon with the dust jacket.
An early biography of Balchen, who was a pioneering aviator, particularly on polar flights and expeditions.
Condition of the book is Good. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete. Condition issues include (see listing photos): 1) Discoloration and wear to the exterior boards, 2) A rust stain from a removed paper clip that affects the front endpaper and the half title page.
Condition of the dust jacket is Very Good Minus. The DJ is complete, not price clipped. It shows moderate wear. The DJ is protected in a new mylar cover.
