1876. Presumed First Edition. Hardcover. ANTIQUARIAN. COLLECTIBLE. REBINDING COPY. D.L. MOODY. CHRISTIANITY. Good No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Very scarce. There are many reproduction/facsimiles but not original hard copies. This was the earliest publication I could find in a search. Introduction by Emory J. Haines. Due to the scarce and rare nature of the book no attempt was made to repair defects, which are as follows: --Looseness at inside front cover. Gathering from ffep to the frontispiece is loose. --Small amount of foxing, particularly on the front and back pages. --Heavy wear top and botton of spine, with split at top spine --Moderate wear edges and corners. --Moderate staining on front and back covers. --Ex-owner's name and some writing in pencil on the ffep with the date June 9, 1877 Book merits professional rebinding. Red boards with gilt lettering and black decorations. See pictures.
