In addition to a chronology of Whitman's life and times, this selection of poetry and prose contains notes and comments, a selected bibliography and an index of titles and first lines. First edition. No previous ownership marks. Book is clean, tight, fresh and unmarked. Dust-jacket shows small chips to head and heel of spine and rear cover, with former lightly toned and rubbed. A near fine copy in a still good+ dust-jacket. .
