Synopsis

The Moon in the Cloud is a light-hearted children's historical fantasy by Rosemary Harris, first published in 1968. The novel is set in ancient Canaan and Egypt at the time of the Biblical Flood. It was awarded the Carnegie Medal for 1968, and was adapted for television in 1978. It was followed by two sequels, The Shadow on the Sun (1970) and The Bright and Morning Star (1972).
