Classic text on the archaeology of the Bible, translated from the German by William Neil. 429pp with index, illustrated profusely throughout with black and white drawings and photographs and three fold-out colour maps. Gilt lettering to top board and spine. Top edges tinted. Binding slightly slack, some marking to edges, a few marks left by sellotape to endpapers and former owner's name to ffep, otherwise good copy..
