Lists about 50,000 works, giving for each: author, title, place, date, size, with occasional notes as to rarity, value, editions, reprints, etc., and often records of prices at various 19th-century sales. While the prices shown are now only of historical interest, and there are some inaccuracies, the work remains useful for other information.
