Original illustrated dust jacket, with the usual fading of the spine section. Slight rubbing to the base edge of the boards, top edge of the text block has been tinted a dark red. The standard work on children's books printed in Australia. although the author, and Kerry White have issued 3 volumes in the 1990s on Australian Children's Books, this book remains an essential part of any children's book collectors reference library.
