American film crew hires a tiger and leopard from a small traveling circus in India to stage a fight for their movie; the son of the circus owner, friendly with the animals, facilitates. Based on an incident Buck witnessed. First edition (first printing) with no later printings listed; INSCRIBED by the author on the free endsheet. Library binding, with reinforced hinges, full-color illustrated cover matching the jacket (the regular cover was plain blue). Light wear to book, no names or marks apart from the author's inscription; jacket price-clipped on upper flap corner but lower flap [library] price of $2.86 remains, jacket shows light wear, internal stain, faded spine. Text clean, [48] pages, b/w illustrations. . Inscribed by the Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Illus. by Mamoru Funai. Small Octavo.
