Boston: Small, Maynard & Company; (1911). First Edition . Hardcover. The author's first published book, a collection of 9 baseball stories, very good+ with no dust jacket. Original red cloth is sunned on the spine, and the white lettering on the spine has a few flakes missing. Small owner's stamp on front endpaper, and original price stamp ($1.00) on rear endpaper. The author published fictional stories about baseball, boxing, horse racing and golf during the after the turn of the 20th century - this is his first collection to be published in book form.
