Ownership Signature Of George Slaff, Civil Rights Attorney And Later Head Of The Southern California Aclu, After Whom An Aclu Fellowship Was Later Named; Slaff Was Active In Social Causes In New York In The 1930'S, Later Working For The Federal Government And Then For Goldwyn Studios. A Bright, Clean Copy, Slight Age-Darkening To Endpapers, Top Edge Dusty. The Fragile Dust Jacket Is Not Price-Clipped (Price On Rear Flap); Worn And Chipped At All Edges With 1/4" Chipping At Corners And Small Chip On Spine And Front Flap Fold, None Of Which Affect The Lettering.
