London: William Pickering, 1846. Three volumes finely bound by F. Bedford in contemporary full polished calf, the backs intricately gilt, covers with double gilt rules, marbled end papers and edges. Small period "Pickering Booksellers 196 Piccadilly" label Vol.I front paste down. The set Near Fine, small rubs and some discolorations to boards, which are now covered with clear plastic protectors, end papers toned, interior pages clean and bright and free of toning. An uncommon work quite handsomely bound. . First Edition Thus. Polished Calf. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. Small 8vo.
