St. John, NB: J. & A. McMillan, 1902 Book. Illus. by Frontispiece portrait. Very Good Minus. Original Cloth. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Dark blue cloth over boards with gilt spine lettering. Several small wear spots along edges of cover. Contains some of his sermons and lectures as well as biography. Rev. Shenton began his ministry at Fairville, N.B., preached in large congregations in Saint John, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, returning and retiring at Fairville (now Saint John), where he died. A Methodist pastor beloved thoughout the Maritimes. .
