Denver: Colorado Museum of Natural History, 1948. First edition.. A fine (as new) copy.. Pp. 317, numerous photo-plates, map. Publishers original red pebble cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine and front cover, lg 8vo. Documents the birds collected on an expedition of the Colorado Museum of Natural History to the Bering Strait and the Arctic coast in 1921-22. Name stamp of the Ron Sauey Memorial Library on rear endpaper and top page edge. Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin. No other ownership marks.
