About This Item
London: E. Grant Richards, 1906. 1906-1911 published dates. Green half-leather and cloth boards, top edges gilt. Pastel coloured marbling to endpapers. Deckle edges foxed. All spines sunned to tan brown, some more so than others, some board corners also tanned. Extremities lightly rubbed/scuffed. Foxing present throughout all vols with some browning to tissue guards. Some hinges cracked, but all volumes remain tight and sturdy. Some vols have bookplates to front pastedowns. Vol I has owner name to front endpaper. Vol II has cracked front gutter and bookplate to rear pastedown. Overall a clean, tidy, and solid set, all plates present and in good order.. Half - Leather. Very Good. Illus. by Medland, Lilian M..
