Original blue cloth with gilt decoration on front cover and gilt lettering on spine. Complete with very nice copy of the original dust jacket. Signed on title by Lansdowne. Jacket has wear at spines and a couple closed tears. Small stain to front endpaper. fine Companion volume to "Birds of the Eastern Forest", beautifully illustrated by noted wildlife illustrator James Fenwick Lansdowne. Includes 56 portraits of individual species with accompanying text. A magnificent edition. 1966
