Publishers original cream cloth, lettered in brown on the spine, two-color pictorial dust jacket, lg 8vo. Provides the status, description, and distribution of 450 species that inhabit the state. Small call number of the International Crane Foundation on the spine of the dust jacket and name stamp of the Ron Sauey Memorial Library on rear endpaper and top page edge. Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin. Blank paper pocket on the rear endpaper. No other ownership marks.
