New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. Inscribed by Burnett on the front endpaper. Very Good in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($3.50), lightly toned, a few small closed tears. Quarter brown cloth with blue paper on the boards, ghost marks on the panels. Firmly bound with a forward lean, dark top stain, former owner's initials on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. A western tale about the fight between a murderous outlaw, a town marshal, and a quiet-mannered man who comes in to save the day.
