Black Harvest by Thomas Fenton, with drawings by T. David Grice. Hardback, circa 1950s, probable first edition, illustrated, published by Cargate Press, London, 160 pages. A scarce signed copy, signed by author on front free endpaper: "Yours very [illegible] Thomas Fenton".
Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 1/2" by 5" by 3/4". Dust jacket shows light scuffing and marking, with a little wear at edges but has been given a protective removable plastic cover and is quite clean and colouring generally vivid. Black paper on card binding. Signs of rubbing, shelf-wear. Binding reasonably firm though there are a couple of loose leaves (containing pages 119-122). Page edges a little marked and scuffed though reasonably clean. A little marking to endpapers, rubbed out pencil marking to front free endpaper. Otherwise page surfaces quite clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
