Text block has red stain on top, clean and tight. DJ has some closed tears and small chips, very lightly soiled - now protected in clean Brodart. Not price - clipped but $2.00 price on front flap has been rubed as if someone tried to erase it. Edition of 1944/1945 as dj flap has a statement that this story received the Young Reader's Choice Award for 1944 from The Pacific Northwest Library Assn. Light staining on endpapers. No writing, tears or marks - interior tight. 275 pages. Back flap advertises Juneau The Sleigh Dog by West Lathrop. Back of dj lists 8 titles of fiction for boys: Skycruiser, Sky Freighter, Smoke Eater and Swing Shift by Howard M.
