About This Item
New York: Tom Doherty Associates, Inc., 2018. Hardcover. Very Fine/Fine. The 27th book in the award-winning Estleman's long-running mystery-detective series featuring Detroit PI, Amos Walker, this time with a "guest appearance" from another Estleman series -- professional hit man, Peter Macklin. Walker finds himself a target as he serves as bodyguard to Macklin's estranged wife, Laurie, after death threats from Macklin's son, also a professional killer. First edition, first printing. Signed by Estleman on the title page. About 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches, 240 pages in black paper-covered boards with yellow lettering on spine. Dustjacket's front panel shows shadowy male figure holding pistol. Lettering is yellow and white. Back panel contains five blurbs of praise for Estleman's writing against a yellow background. This is an unread, undamaged copy with no flaws. Complete, clean and unmarked except for author's signature on title page. Not ex-library, not remaindered. DJ shows only a touch of bumping at spine ends. No tears, no creases or scratches. A very collectable copy in this equally collectable mystery series.
