About This Item
First edition. Hardcover. Fine/fine. Signed by DAVID CAMPESE and JASON LEONARD on the title page. Book edited by Ian Robertson. Fine Condition with Wrapper. Mick Cleary tells the inside story of an eventful six weeks in New Zealand as the Lions met the All Blacks, reviving memories of the highs and lows of the tour. He discusses the management style of Sir Clive Woodward, his strategy, and his team selection. He examines the relationship between the tour management and the media, and also the partnership between the referee and his touch judges in controlling infringements both on and off the ball. The outcome of the tour may have been a disappointment to Lions fans, but the watching world witnessed an impressive resurgence in New Zealand rugby and some fine individual performances. Mick Cleary is the rugby union correspondent for The Daily Telegraph and has edited and written several rugby books.

About greaves-leaves
I am an independent retired individual who has specific interests in History, particularly local History and relevant scarce books. Many of the books for sale are from the collection I have built over the years. I do not operate as a business and spend a few hours a week on my hobby. However being retired I am usually available to service orders promptly and personally.
