Frontis illus. "Barra Castle". Very interesting history of the Blackhall family, Burgesses of Aberdeen. Illustrations include a Coloured Armorial bearing and Portrait of Sir Alexander Morison. Limited Edition of 500 copies. This copy has a gift inscription from the Author to Elizabeth Morison. Also included is a letter to Alexander Morison from the New Spalding Club thanking him for his gift to the club of the Blackhalls volume. Dark Green cloth cover with Gilt Armorial bearing of the New Spalding Club on front and Gilt lettering on spine. Main text 180 pages + 18th report by council (New Spalding Club) 1904. Small closed tear to cloth at top corner of spine. No inscriptions except the author's.
