London: Blackie & Son Limited. Good+. Hardcover. 168 p. 24 cm. No publication or copyright date, likely late 1920's or early 1930's. Sound and square binding in paper-covered boards with cloth spine. Illustration on upper cover shows two children on carousel horses. Heavy wear to edges and corners. Spine is rippled. Staining along top edge of lower board and overall some scratches and soiling. Inside pages have occasional light soil marks but overall quite clean and bright. One page has edge tear near gutter. Some signatures sprung (open widely). An assortment of dozens of stories and puzzles for young children. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, full colour pages, and in-text drawings by Peter Fraser, S.G. Hulme Beaman, Ruth Cobb and others. Quite sweet. .
