About This Item
London: Stanley Paul and Co., (1953). Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. F. First Edition. Octavo, red cloth covered boards. 200pp. including index. An excellent study of the early history and development of the modern mystery novel. A very tight, clean, unmarked volume with tiny bump to lower forecorners, else fine in a crisp, sharp, tight dust jacket with one short closed edge tear and faint dusting and light spine toning. Despite the catalogue of errors these are quite minor and this is a really well-preserved copy. Very near fine in very good plus dust jacket..
