About This Item

London and Melbourne: Ward, Lock & Company, 1958. Blue hardcover cloth binding is square and tight, but two front endpapers removed, some ink marks and stains on title page and back and front endpapers, yellowing pages and foxing. Hinge crack after last page of text. Might have been an ex-library but no specific marks for that. DJ a bit worn with wrinkles and light soiling, but displays nicely in clean Brodart jacket. A decent reading copy. 160 pages. On the death of big Dave McCord, ruthless owner of the Circle C in Stallion Creek, his son Stair learns that his mother was a Bloodstone Indian ruler's daughter.. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fair/Good.
