The covers are clean, the jacket likewise- jacket with minor rubbing/light use. Clean internally, no inscriptions or signatures. 314 pages. Bloody April- the massacre of French and British air crews in the 1917 April Allied offensive (Nivelle offensive), Part 2 in a similar vein, the September 1918 Allied push finishing in the same way as the first- resulting in the worst air losses of the whole war just 6 weeks from the end of WWI (Meuse-Argonne offensive).
