London: Duckworth, 1961. 1st . Hardcover. Good/Dust Jacket Included. First printing. Pp xxv, 26-201, frontis map, photos, glossary, octavo format in brown cloth, dust jacket. Inscribed by the author to a friend "with affectionate regards", dated 1962. Laid in: two personal letters from the author to the inscribee from 1962 and 1963. Also, an article written by the author "The Problem of Limited Aspirations" from Reporting on the Development of Rural India journal, 1962. Text is Good with expected wear and minor soiling, few pen marks to text. Dust jacket is worn with some loss at extremities. An interesting association copy. The inscribee was Director of Oxfam Overseas Aid.
