Faint fingerprints on front board, a few spots on edges, owner's name on recto of ffep, occasional notes and underlining throughout (mostly but not entirely in pencil, and fairly unobtrusive), shaken hinges reglued with acid-free PVA. An extaordinarily complete discussion of French grammar and usage, illustrated at every turn with quotations from French literature.
