About This Item

Richard Cobden-Sanderson, London, 1922. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 192pp. Blue cloth with a paper spine label. A touch of bruising to the backstrip ends, and a little spotting and dust soiling to the top edge. Free endpapers browned and lightly spotted, and with a little further browning to the half-title and to the final text leaf. Very good. No dust wrapper. The author's seventh book, and first non-verse publication; an account of his 1921 voyage to South America ("I am sorry myself that there are no adventures of the blood-curdling sort in it; but I could not go out of my way, nor do tramps find time, it seems, for propitiating cannibals" - from the author's note)..
