wright & brown London nd circa 1940s Vg/g+ pictorial dj is clean and bright but touch faded/sunned to spine. a few small tarnish marks to rear cream panel, but nothing unsightly. a number of small closed splits to edges of dj and faint rubbing to ends of dj over spine. there is a missing notch at top end of dj of about 1/2 width of dj panel, to about 1/2 inch or so depth - cutting title in half. ask for scan if concerned - not as bad as it sounds - it is a rare dustwrapper in otherwise very collectable condition. not price-clipped. no inscriptions. binding is all tight. a very good tight crisp copy. Presumed first edition. no date, but with wartime "economy" paper. we have other period cowboy titles.
