Edition unknown circa 1900, miniature book, 55 x 45 mm (cover size), 2¼ x 1¾ inches, frontispiece portrait of Christ with the crown of thorns, 688 pages, bound in dark brown full calf with rounded corners, "Common Prayer" gilt on upper cover and spine, all edges red and gilded, dark brown endpapers. A few minute marks and scrapes to covers, one damaging 2 letters of the title on the upper cover (see image), endpapers show slight marks due to the removal of sticky tape (see image), contents otherwise clean and tight, no inscriptions. A very good plus copy in its own decorative sterling silver carrying case complete with chain. Case in excellent condition.
