About This Item

London & Edinburgh: T. C. & E. C. Jack, 1915. Book. Good+. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 458pp. HARDCOVER. Not dated. Assumed to be 2nd edition of 1915 as the 1st edition appears to have 457pp. Binding appears that it might be vellum rather than cloth which would have been the most expensive of 3 available bindings. Gilt angel to front & spine. (Spine faded.) Various marks and much rubbing. (Probably never any d/w issued.) Roughcut pages. Old 1918 gift inscription to ffep., and pencil drawing to verso of another preface page. Rear hinge exposed although binding still remains strong. Internally clean throughout. Size: 8vo - over 73/4" - 93/4" tall.
