Printed on fine, heavy paper. 86 pp. Before William Morris created his Kelmscott press and designed his own types, he and Edward Burne-Jones attempted to collaborate on an edition of THE EARTHLY PARADISE together. They eventually gave up, in part, because they could not find type that was in harmony with the illustrations. Includes numerous illustrations and sketches by Edward Burne-Jones. In a tan dust jacket with dark blue title to spine and front panel. Housed in a tan paper covered slipcase. Tight binding. Minimal damage to tan paper of slipcase at bottom of spine and at front bottom. Dust jacket condition: As New. Condition overall: Near Fine.
