Pages 637-644 punctured with small holes, affecting some text. Red stain to p.p. 519, visible on recto. Rubbing to spine, with wear to edges. Bottom right corner of front board frayed. Light rubbing to jacket, with a small chip to bottom front fore-edge. Front inner flap price clipped. Volume II: vi, 592 p.p. Ink smudge to p.p. 163, but text unaffected. Worn edges, light rubbing to spine. Front inner flap price clipped. Volume III: vi, 569 p.p. Small hole to p.p. 549-50, and stain with small hole to head of p.p. 265-6. Front inner flap price clipped. Light wear to jacket. Rubbing and wear to spine and edges. Volume IV: vii, 537 p.p. Front inner flap price clipped. Some smudges to rear jacket cover, wear to jacket covers. Boards lightly worn to spine and extremities. Otherwise a very good set.
