Fine copy in the original slipcase (near fine, trivial wear, no splits) -- patterned slipcase matching the book boards. Limited to 275 copies, 5 full-page illustrations, 14 initials and 3 head-and tail-pieces, engraved on wood and coloured by hand, publisher's vellum-backed marbled boards with gilt raven design, original marbled slipcase, 8vo, 35pp. The first book produced by Horace Bray (illustrator) and Robert Maynard after they left the Gregynog Press to start up the Raven Press. This has the same production values (and quality illustration) as top Gregynog Press editions, such as the Life of David (1927).
