First edition, first printing with "First Edition" stated on the copyright page. Published by Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc., New York, 1928. Measures 6" x 9.25",279 pages. With its original dust jacket. The dust jacket is in very good minus to good plus condition. Toning and soiling to the jacket with paper loss at the flap folds and spine edges. Small stains to the spine and onto the front panel. The flaps are clipped. The book is in very good plus condition. The red cloth boards are very well preserved, retaining their crisp color and edges. Slight cloth loss at the bottom edge of the spine. Previous owner's bookplate and gift inscription on the endsheets. Small paper remnant on the rear paste-down. The textblock is gently toned, but clean and complete. The binding is sound.
