Books of Blood Volume 3 III First UK Hardcover Edition with cover art by Clive Barker (author of Weaveworld, The Hell-Bound Heart (aka Hellraiser), Imagica, Abarat, etc). Part of the definitive hardcover set. Near Fine in Near Fine+ dust jacket. A nice copy, not perfect, typical age-toning to the text-block. Age-toning is common with UK hardcover editions published circa 1980 to 2000. Corners tender but not really bumped, and a tiny hint of bowing out of the front board, not too noticeable. The jacket would be near-perfect save a nick to the lower right-hand corner. Still a smart copy. Copies of this edition are difficult to come by right now. Priced to sell. NOTE on edition: The definitive hardcover six-volume set with jacket cover art by Clive! Simultaneously released in a signed-limited edition. Originally released as paperback originals by Sphere UK in 1984. Also published by Scream Press in four volumes, the first volume combining the first four books and equivalent trade editions where volume 4 was titled "The Unhuman Condition" and volume five as "In the Flesh". The sixth volume was paired with "Cabal". The US editions didn't use Clive's artwork until a Subterranean signed-limited edition was released four decades later which was sold out in preorders.)
