Pp. 88(last blank), engraved vignette title page, plus 5 plates, the title page printed in red, blue & black; med. 8vo; qr. parchment, spine lettered in gilt, brown cloth boards; t.e.g., others uncut; scattered foxing; printed only for members of The Bibliophile Society, Boston, 1912. Edition limited to 477 copies (2 of which were for copyright purposes). Ashley Library 1925 (VII.27-28); Todd 336a: *Lacking the slipcase. Seven Border Ballads left by Swinburne unpublished at the time of his death. 'Wise reports that this edition, which succeeded his 1909 pamphlet edition [Todd 308d] was 'fully authorized, and was issued with the approval and co-operation of Watts-Dunton and myself' [Todd, p. 109].
