Book is tight, has slight spine roll, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good; bumping to lower tips; fading of tinted textblock top; light wear at head, tail, and tips. DJ: Good; NOT Price Clipped ($5.95); light suntanning; light wear to flap folds; chipping at head; closed tears and folds to front panel and head; light stain from a mud stain to head. Red cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 352 pp 8vo. Oklahoma's growth began on 22 April 1889 when thousands of people poured in to OKC on the Santa Fe Railroad for the land rush. Oklahoma was the last frontier and OKC had amazing growth from the venturesome spirit and cooperative attitude of its people. This book tells hos the city was built and about the men and women who left the most visible marks on its growth and development. A chronology helps guide the reader. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
