Editorial announces citizens' meeting at Faneuil Hall of those in favor of economy in State expenditures, and to ratify the nomination of Henry J. Gardner for Governor. Editorial criticizes Mr. Banks, his opponent. Superior Court session will consider rights of Colored people at Theatres, based upon complaint of black man ejected from Howard Athenaeum. Fatal accidents on the Old Colony Railroad-- W.T. Ford, brakeman, was standing on top of a car, blinded by smoke, and didn't see bridge. He hit bridge and was horribly mangled.
