London, UK: Simpkin and Marshall / Sherwood and Co.. Half bound in tan leather over marbled boards with raised bands to decorative spine and gilt title to leather label. 1831-32. Unpaginated. 21 hand-coloured plates, each showing 4 different plants per plate. Boards are shelf worn and rubbed with small tears to the spine and partial loss to the title label. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown plus a small library label. Some foxing and tanning to many pages but the binding is tight and the hand-coloured plates are bright and clear. A lovely book. . Good++. Hardcover. 1832.
