Complete with 23 plates, three of them are double page. German language. Scarce report on Patagonian flora from the Swedish Antarctica Expedition of 1907-09. From the private collection of Eric Kenneth Prentice 'Kenn' Back, meteorologist who worked with the British Antarctic Survey for nearly 40 years, recipient of both the Fuchs Medal and the Polar Medal, and a descendent of Sir George Back, the Arctic explorer.
