About This Item
Twentieth Century-Fox, 1952. Very Good. Original pressbook for the 1952 film noir, "Don't Bother to Knock," featuring Monroe in black-and-white, looking over her shoulder in white shirt, dark skirt and heels opposite hash marks, measuring her up. One of several designs used, another uncommon ad features Monroe peeking through blinds. Based on "Mischief" (Armstrong, 1950). Blonde phenom Richard Widmark plays a man who leaves his girlfriend (Bancroft), sees a new woman (Monroe) who might be slightly insane. 20 pages, saddle stitched, 11 x 15.55 inches. Near Fine overall, only light rubbing and a tiny tear at the crown.
